About the Campground

Hidden Valley is an ideal place for family vacations, weddings, honeymoons, a weekend get-away, school groups, clubs, or a family reunion.

The campground provides a basketball court, game room, playground, and volleyball area. Basketballs and volleyballs are available. Mother Nature provides a gentle creek, cool evenings and very few mosquitoes.

Lake Leah our private 4 acre lake offers paddle boards, paddle boats, a water trampoline, catch and release fishing and a beautiful sand beach. Open only to our guests staying at Hidden Valley Campground.

Our goal is to provide our guests with a neat, clean place to call home while visiting the Black Hills.

ATV Riding

No need to trailer you ATVs.

You can ride from your campsite to numerous trails.

The closest is Trail #538.1.

Trail passes may be purchased at Steel Wheel Trading Post.

Temporary ATV Road permits are available through The Lawrence County Treasurer follow the link or call 605-578-1862.

We pride ourselves on having one of the cleanest establishments that can be found anywhere in the Black Hills. The Campground is mowed and trimmed on a weekly basis and all the fire pits are clean. Most importantly, our great staff ensures that both the shower house and grounds are kept spotless to ensure our guests have the cleanest environment while staying with us.

C-Store

An added value to Hidden Valley Campground is the neighboring Steel Wheel Trading Post.

Offering a full compliment of C-Store conveniences; food, drinks, gasoline, diesel, and propane.

Camping

The 55 sites will accommodate tents to RVs. Hook-up sites have 30 / 50 amp service. The dump station is easily accessible. Seven sleeping cabins available also. All of the sites have a fire ring and a picnic table. Some of the sites have patios.

Cell Phone Service

AT&T 4G/cell phone coverage is good, other providers are marginal throughout the campground, but booster service is provided by a Verizon internet booster near the campstore.

Game Room

The small game room has an air hockey table and arcade games.

Internet / WiFi

We provide wireless 3 mbps internet service.

We've recently upgrade our internet service to the best available to provide WiFi coverage to all our guests.

Lake Leah

Lake Leah is our private 4 acre lake complete with paddle boards, paddle boats, a water trampoline, catch and release fishing and a beutiful sand beach. Lake Leah is open only to our guests staying with us in the Hidden Valley Campground.

Laundry

The laundry has three washers and three dryers and is coin-operated. Coin machine on premise. A sink for those who don't want to heat water at the site is available for washing dishes.

A covered patio area next to the game/laundry room is available for our guests' use.
